Job summary

Organization: St. Croix Ballet

St. Croix Ballet is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our studio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a welcoming, community-focused environment and takes pride in providing excellent customer service to students, families, and staff.

The Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for our studio and plays an essential role in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, proactive attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and respond to incoming emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Welcome and assist students, parents, and visitors as the primary point of contact.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked studio environment.
  • Assist with special projects and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Perform general office duties to support daily studio operations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Preferred
  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar administrative or customer service role.
  • Experience with Studio Pro or similar studio management software is a plus (training will be provided).
Schedule
  • Part-time
  • September through May, with the possibility of additional summer hours
  • Three evenings per week:
    • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday or
    • Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
  • Hours: 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Holidays off
  • $20-22/hour
