This integral role assists with managing correspondence, scheduling, and records, assists with reports and department communications, and supports special projects that touch everything from emergency response readiness to community outreach. This position works under the general guidance of the Fire Chief, with room to use your own judgment and initiative in daily tasks, and take on other related duties as they arise. This is a full-time, in-person position with a typical Monday-Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. A 9/80 alternative work schedule with alternating Fridays or Mondays off, may be available.
Selection will be based on overall qualifications, skills testing (if applicable) , and an interview process. The final candidate selected will be subject to a comprehensive background/reference check commensurate to the position.
