Summary: To perform administrative duties and other responsibilities for the Chairman, Deputy Commissioner, as well as the Senior Management Team by coordinating and maintaining a professional, confidential, and efficient Commission office while implementing and following all NH Liquor Commission rules and policies.
Qualifications
- Equiv. combination of 4 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
- Education and experience must be in office or business administration, executive support, or related field supporting senior management or directors.

Responsibilities
- Exercises considerable judgment in representing the Chairman, Deputy Commissioner, and the Commission.
- Assists the Chairman and Deputy Commissioner in day-to-day matters, including managing Commission office calendars, coordinating meetings, making travel arrangements, and fielding questions from elected officials, the Governor’s office, other state agencies, and the general public.
- Drafts and prepares correspondence for the Chairman and Deputy Commissioner. Transcribes meeting minutes, and sends hearing results. Coordinates communications for the Commission with brokers, suppliers, and other business partners.
- Coordinates agenda items and prepares the agenda for weekly public Commission meetings. Attends Commission meetings, prepares meeting minutes and posts the minutes on the Commission website.
- Maintains and manages office supplies, asset inventory, and equipment needs for the Commissioners’ area.
- Prepares submissions for Governor and Council and the legislature, including correspondence, statistical reports, and presentations.
- Communicates with consideration, tact, and discretion to maintain harmonious working relations while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Organizes important reference and source documents into easily assessable material for the Chairman and Deputy Commissioner to use.
