The administrative assistant will perform various administrative duties as needed for the Foster Care department including –sending and tracking all criminal background checks, tracking and recording Foster Parent Training, weekly population reports, tracking Medicaid billing for RBHS Services, filing paperwork timely, running and maintaining all background checks for perspective Foster Parents, assisting with all Foster Care special events, working with set-up, ordering food and snacks, gathering all supplies that are needed, as well as other duties as assigned to assist the department.
Two years administrative experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience. Computer experience and/or training in Microsoft and Excel. Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
Demonstrates practical application and experience with technology such as database functions/reports, Microsoft Word and Excel, internet/email usage, etc. Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Exhibits strong customer services. Must be able to pass standard background checking, including: drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry.
