Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant - Executive Assistant, Journeyman (Level III) will perform a variety of administrative duties to support the Next Generation Combat Vehicles Cross-Functional Team (NGCV CFT) Headquarters Staff.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage scheduling, coordinate, and deconflict calendars for the Director.
  2. Manage content and flow of information to recipients.
  3. Arrange travel and related activities for the Headquarters Staff.
  4. Provide administrative support at the headquarters.
  5. Manage SIPR VTC.
  6. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all materials.
  7. Maintain the NGCV CFT Director's calendar and remind of appointments.
  8. Set up, reschedule, or decline appointments and meetings.
  9. Coordinate travel arrangements using the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  10. Draft correspondence and perform clerical duties.
  11. Complete required training and timesheets.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 years of administrative support experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word; experience with VTCs (Crestron, CISCO).
  • Preferred experience with the Department of Defense.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong judgment and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of the Defense Travel System.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
