DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Administrative Associate – Level III – Health and Safety to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Cummins Inc. facility in Memphis, TN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  1. Efficient Data Management: By accurately gathering, compiling, and entering data into reports, presentations, and office systems, you will ensure that information is reliable and easily accessible for decision-making.

  2. Administrative Support: Conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and addressing information requests will provide valuable support to your team and help streamline operations.

  3. Effective Communication: Responding to or redirecting inquiries promptly and accurately will enhance communication within the organization and with external parties.

  4. Payment Processing: Preparing and submitting documentation for vendor payments and responding to related inquiries will ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

  5. Policy Documentation: Documenting and maintaining departmental policies and procedures will help standardize operations and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

  6. Team Collaboration: Participating in business improvement projects and assignments will contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes and outcomes.

  7. Routine Administrative Tasks: Performing tasks such as preparing correspondence, arranging meetings, and scheduling conference calls will support the smooth functioning of daily operations.

  8. Mentorship: Acting as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience will foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, helping others grow and succeed.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

EXPERIENCE: Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have writing and editing skills to partner with HSE Communications team to deliver impactful communications. Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail. Strong PowerPoint skills with visual design experience preferred.
