Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic, dedicated person to fill an Administrative Assistant position at our dialysis clinic in Anchorage, AK.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 Hour Shifts, 40 Hour Position

Responsibilities
  • Maintain manuals, files, and other related material
  • Handle routine correspondence and information of a confidential nature
  • Generate, assemble, and distribute reports
  • Assist clinic management with payroll and processing of new hire paperwork
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Regular contact with clinical staff and patients requiring tact and discretion
Qualifications
  • High school diploma plus additional courses or specialized training at a business or community college, or other formal training facility or program
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is strongly desired
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Problem solving and good judgment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good writing and computer skills
  • Competent use of office equipment, including word-processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively
  • Leadership skills
