We are looking for a professional and friendly Studio Assistant to join our team!

About Us:

Centered Studio Pilates is a bright and welcoming Pilates studio established in 2013. We pride ourselves in creating a warm, encouraging, and inclusive environment for clients of all shapes, sizes, and abilities. We are looking for a Studio Assistant to support our team and clients, and be the smiling face to greet all that visit our studio.

Requirements:

• Available to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Three hours per day (9 hours per week).
• Excellent communication skills in-person and through phone, text, and email
• Able to thrive in a busy studio environment including managing scheduling, processing payments, organizing paperwork and responding to communications while maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor
• Exceptional time management skills
• Organized, neat, punctual, and detail-oriented with attention to accuracy
• Proficient computer skills in Google Docs and Google Sheets as well as openness to effectively learn studio systems and software (MindBody, MailChimp, Slack, Canva)
• Sales-minded for supporting the ongoing success of the Studio
• Able to perform basic Pilates equipment maintenance and set-up including lifting up to 40 lbs. Able to perform light equipment and studio cleaning to keep the studio tidy and running efficiently
• Minimum of one year administrative experience. Experience working in a Pilates, Yoga, fitness, chiropractic or wellness studio is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Fluently speak, read, and write English

Classification:

• Non-exempt employee under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
• Part Time position to 9 hours per week
