Washington State Patrol is seeking an Administrative Assistant 2 to support the Impaired Driving Section and the statewide Ignition Interlock Program. You will perform a range of clerical and customer service duties essential to daily operations.

The applicant who is selected for this position will receive an additional 5% to their salary for living in King County.
The Administrative Assistant 2 (AA2) position supports the Impaired Driving Section by providing administrative services to the entire section. The position also supports the statewide Ignition Interlock Program (IIP).
The Impaired Driving Section (IDS) is comprised of the Breath Test Program (BTP), Ignition Interlock Program (IIP) and Drug Evaluation and Classification (DEC) Program.

Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the incumbent may be expected to adjust the work schedule to meet business needs. A flexible work schedule will be considered at the incumbent’s request but is subject to supervisory approval. Telework is not an option for this position.
