Job description

Goodhue County is seeking qualified applicants for an Administrative Assistant for the Land Survey/GIS and Recorder department. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and receptionist support to Land Survey/GIS and Recorder departments, and informational support for County inquiries. This position provides departmental support in the preparation of materials, in scheduling meetings, and all other areas as assigned. This position is the main contact for collecting and processing departmental fees, which depending on the department, ranges from $50,000 - $350,000 per year. This position also maintains confidential information (copy write material, criminal enforcement and violations information, credit card information, Passport data, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years office experience

Post high school training in secretarial, accounting, or administrative fields highly desired.

Compensation & Benefits

County employees receive competitive pay and a generous benefit offering. The Administrative Assistant is compensated at salary grade 106 ($52,873 -$81,931). Starting pay range is $52,873- $55,515.
