Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living seeks an Administrative & Engagement Support for its Senior Living community. The role serves as the first point of contact for residents, staff and guests and supports front office tasks, report generation, and community programming.

The ideal candidate has strong organization, communication, and customer service skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, and at least 3 years of administrative experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years as a secretary or administrative assistant in a professional office setting.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Order and maintain supplies and code invoices for payment.
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks for day-to-day operations and programming.
  • Assist with creating/updating documents and reports using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.

Location: Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living

Administrative & Engagement Support – Senior Living

Our Resident Life Department offers a multitude of resources, services, and engagement events to our independent senior living residents and they're looking for a dedicated administrative professional to help support the team. This is a highly visible role with great opportunities for career advancement.

In this position, you will represent the department as the first point of contact for residents, staff, and guests; serve as a welcome home ambassador for incoming residents; provide front office support and general administrative tasks; generate reports; participate in planning community engagement events; and other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, will require strong organization, communication, and customer service skills. Must have excellent computer skills and an aptitude for managing and troubleshooting technology and systems.

Compensation: commensurate with experience from $20-$25 / hour

How you will make an impact
  • Order and maintain supplies, arrange for equipment maintenance for the department, and code invoices to be approved for payment
  • Perform and manage clerical and administrative responsibilities for day-to-day operations and programming of the department
  • Assist with creating and/or updating documents and reports using various software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information
What you will need
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 3 years as a secretary or administrative assistant in a professional office setting
