Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of medical office management experience, with strong MS Office skills and superior written and verbal communication abilities.
Health Center Inc. (also known as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds) is an NYC based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services. We have an opening for an Administrative Assistant to work out of ourHarlemlocation and serve as the right hand for our Health Center's leadership team.

They will also have the following responsibilities:
Compiling of data on a monthly basis regarding statistics, quality improvement, policies and procedures, and other pertinent information.
Coordinating meetings and collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll + accounting of center expenditures.
Overseeing the completion of special projects assigned by the Administrator,
Establishing + implementing appropriate coverage plans in the absence of medical staff and the Administrator.
Coordinating and preparing of materials for staff meetings and complete other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Minimum 2 years' medical office management experience
Strong computer and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of MS Office Suite
