The University of Kentucky is seeking an Administrative Assistant for 4-H Online and 4-H Programming to join the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food & Environment’s 4-H units.
This position provides essential administrative and operational support for Kentucky 4-H programs, helping ensure effective service delivery to youth, families, Extension personnel, and program leaders across the state. The role supports 4-H Online operations, financial and registration processes, travel coordination, and program initiatives including Volunteerism and State Fair activities while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and organizational excellence.
Kentucky 4-H continues to provide meaningful youth development experiences across the Commonwealth, creating opportunities for young people to develop skills, build connections, and contribute to their communities. This role is critical to supporting the administrative systems, customer service functions, and program operations that help those experiences run smoothly.
As 4-H programs, events, and online engagement continue to serve participants statewide, the Administrative Assistant will play an important role in maintaining efficient operations, supporting specialists and program leaders, and ensuring excellent service for Extension personnel, volunteers, families, and youth participants.
