As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a hands‑on role in the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the hospital. This position is ideal for a compassionate, highly organized, detail‑oriented, and curious individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and enjoys wearing many hats.
You’ll help keep the hospital running smoothly by supporting administrative operations, HR, financial auditing, recruiting, marketing, community outreach, facility needs, and leadership initiatives.
This role combines behind‑the‑scenes administrative work with opportunities to interact with employees, veterinary professionals, referral partners, vendors, and community members. You’ll be trusted to work independently, identify opportunities for improvement, solve problems, and make informed decisions while knowing when to elevate concerns to hospital leadership.

Full‑time position
This position is primarily administrative but takes place within a busy specialty and emergency veterinary hospital. You will regularly interact with hospital leadership, employees, veterinary professionals, clients, vendors, referral partners, and community members.
You should be comfortable working in an environment that can be fast‑paced, unpredictable, and occasionally high‑stress. The ability to shift priorities, remain organized, and maintain professionalism is essential.
Because this is a veterinary hospital, you may also be exposed to animals, medical equipment, cleaning agents, and other elements common to a clinical environment.
