Evolution Veterinary Specialists in Lakewood, CO, seeks a Specialty Liaison to ensure smooth communication between departments and with referring clinics. This role involves phone and email client communication, appointment coordination, and front desk support.

You will manage records, assist with payments and financing options, and support CSRs during busy periods. A High School diploma and 2+ years in customer service are required; veterinary ER experience is a plus.

• Associates degree in Communication or related field preferred.
• +1 year experience in a Veterinary ER hospital/clinic as receptionist or position equivalent preferred.

• Handle multi-line phones, client communications, and appointment reminders.
• Process payments, present fees, and assist with financing options.
• Support lobby CSRs with client check-in/out, triage calls, and maintain clean/stocked areas.

• Conduct outreach to referring clinics and promote open appointments.

Your Role as a Specialty Liaison

At Evolution Veterinary Specialists, the Specialty Liaison’s position is vital for maintaining effective communication and collaboration between all specialty departments. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate complex relationships. Not only does the specialty liaison serve as a bridge between departments but also ensures smooth operations and promoting mutual timely communications with referring general practice doctors and clients. This position is phone and email client communication support and client facing when assistance is needed for the front desk CSR team.

You’ll use your expertise to:

Schedule specialty appointments, diagnostics, and manage client/patient records in Instinct.

Requirements

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• +2-years of customer service experience.

Preferred:

• Associates degree in Communication or related field
• +1-year experience in a Veterinary ER hospital/clinic as a receptionist or position equivalent

Schedule:

A full-time EVS employee averages at least 36 hours per work week. Hours may vary and depend on the department(s) and needs of the hospital.

• A typical schedule for this position consists of 4 x 10 hour shifts weekly.
• On-call shifts optional.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• This role is physically active and fast-paced. You’ll need to:
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Kneel, stoop, crouch, and be on your feet for long periods
• Operate medical and office equipment
• Work around biological hazards and cleaning agents
• Communicate clearly in noisy environments
