KPS Global is looking for a Field Service Technician, to join our Construction Services department.

Required Skills

The Field Service Tech provides technical field service and installation assistance for walk-in coolers and freezers and plays a big part in KPS Global’s ability to offer excellent service to customers.

• Performing and assisting with installations and service of walk-in coolers and freezers
• Communicating with customers in the field
• Complying with customer demands
• Ensuring a safe working environment
• Taking field measurements and photos for inside sales to use for quoting projects
• Promoting products and services in the field

Required Experience

• High School Diploma
• 1 – 3 years of related experience; 2 – 3 years of field experience preferred
• Working knowledge of laptop, smart phone, small hand and electronic tools
• Advanced carpentry skills and basic knowledge of refrigeration systems, including some troubleshooting capabilities
• Ability to professionally communicate with customers and effectively capture, organize
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable standing, climbing, and walking for the majority of the time
• Must be comfortable walking in air-conditioned and non air-conditioned areas
