This position serves as the welcoming face and primary customer service point of contact for City Hall, providing exceptional front-desk reception, public relations, and administrative support to the Administration Department. The role is dedicated to delivering high-quality, responsive service to residents and visitors in person and over the phone, while providing key administrative coordination for the City Administration and City Council. Additionally, this position assists with special projects and daily operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and community-focused office.
Benefits:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Office Management, or a closely related field is highly preferred. Must be highly proficient in Google Workspace applications including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc. Two (2) to three (3) years of progressive clerical or administrative experience. Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license or be able to obtain one.
