Austin Community College is seeking an Administrative and Data Assistant (Hourly) to support the Advancement team with data entry, reporting, and records management. The role requires careful handling of donor data within Raiser's Edge NXT and strong Excel skills.

The position is a part-time hourly role with up to 19 hours per week, based in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will join a mission-driven public college focused on student success and community development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy, including imports/exports into Raiser's Edge NXT.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, entry, reconciliation, and reporting for gift and constituent records.
  • Review data records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Assist with BoardSpot and Board Committee tasks for the Senior Director of Advancement Services.
  • Update and maintain the Standards Manual and other policies for the Advancement team.
  • Enter and process documentation such as forms, reports, surveys, and compliance paperwork.
  • Prepare lists and reports to support fundraising analysis and stewardship.
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed.

  • Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail, including importing and exporting data files into Raiser’s Edge NXT

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete data collection, entry, reconciliation, and reporting for gift and constituent records as it supports the Advancement team

  • Regularly review data records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, including latest constituent data and preferences

  • Assist with BoardSpot and Board Committee administrative tasks and documentation as it supports the Senior Director of Advancement Services and Stewardship

  • Update and maintain the Standards Manual and other policies and procedures as it supports the Advancement team

  • Enter and process documentation such as forms, reports, surveys, and compliance-related paperwork

  • Prepare lists and reports in support of fundraising analysis and stewardship efforts
  • Support other administrative, scheduling, and clerical tasks as needed

Knowledge

  • Experience with high-volume data entry and maintaining record accuracy
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets (Excel, Sheets) including but not limited to formula creation, pivot tables, dashboards and reporting preparation
  • Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) code of ethical conduct

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (preferred)
  • Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software

Physical Requirements

  • Work is routinely performed in a standard office or similar environment
  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds

Hourly Pay Rate

$24.10/Hour
