The primary purpose of this position is to manage the Division of Administration Unit under the direction of the Assistant Director of Administration. The incumbent is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the daily operations of the Customer Service, CRM, and UDC teams within the Prince George's County Child Support Administration. This role supports the achievement of Unit goals, upholds the Gold Standard of Customer Service, and drives improvements in operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Plan, directs, organizes, leads, and coordinates strategic direction of the department, setting overall goals and directives.
Establishes and monitors performance measures and success standards to ensure continuous improvement.
Oversees the daily operations of the Administration Unit.
Supervise staff assigned to the Administration Unit including performance evaluations.
Provide leadership by motivating, developing, and evaluating team members.
Monitors and manages assigned mandatory and ad hoc reports.
Plan and coordinates unit activities.

Experience: Eight years of experience, four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations and an additional four years of professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute graduate level education at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 credit hours per year for up to six years of the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
One year of experience in a child support administration
program.
One year of experience supervising staff.
One year of experience in customer service and/or fiscal
auditing.
One year of experience navigating child support
software/databases Child Support Management System (CSMS) and experience in
software systems such as Microsoft office, Google Suites, SMART, and Maryland
Electronic Court System.
One year of experience in program management such as
training, data analysis, performance reports, and drafting Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs).
