About the role

Mulgrave Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and organised Administration Officer to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the hospital, ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and dedicated healthcare organisation committed to providing the highest quality patient care.

What you'll be doing

Answering and directing incoming phone calls with professionalism and empathy

Managing general office administration tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and administrative systems

Assisting with the coordination of hospital appointments and schedules

Providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and other stakeholders

Supporting the broader administrative team as needed

What we're looking for

Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

Proficiency in using standard office software, such as Microsoft Office suite

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

A warm, friendly, and professional demeanour with a genuine interest in providing high-quality customer service

Mulgrave Private Hospital is an acute medical and surgical hospital conveniently located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. First opened in 1984, it has been owned and operated by Healthe Care since June 2007.

Mulgrave Hospital is closely aligned with South Eastern Private Hospital located in Noble Park.

With 240 registered beds, a 24 hour Emergency, ICON Cancer Centre within our grounds, state of the art cardiac services and a wide range of on-site medical, surgical and allied health services, Mulgrave Private Hospital has more than 35 years experience providing healthcare to our community.
