Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support its Facilities sector. The candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks. Candidates are required to have two or more years of a wide range of administrative and office support experience. This role is 100 percent onsite in Los Angeles, California.

Responsibilities
  • Track expenditures for contracts
  • Assist with preparing contract agreements
  • Download state prevailing wage information and assembles it for distribution to contractors
  • Maintain log of interactions with contractors as part of contract development work
  • Assists with opening of bids for construction contracts
  • Schedules live events using Microsoft TEAMS software
  • Confirm that insurance certificates submitted by contractors meet County standards
  • Prepare reports indicating degree of compliance with safety training
  • Set up and take down equipment for hybrid meetings in the conference room
  • Schedule meetings for project managers with contractors
  • Assist in tracking consultant hours worked
  • Generate reports indicating any Job Order Contracting contractors whose insurance has expired
  • Any other duties may be required by the Division
Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Effective written and oral communication skills are required to work with all levels of staff, managers, and contractors
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work with little supervision
  • Capable of multi-tasking; and follow through on all tasks to completion

Salary Range: $30 to $35 per hour.

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Work Environment: Onsite
