Job summary

Azul Hospitality Group in Detroit is seeking an organized Accounting Administrator to support hotel operations and the accounting manager. You will assist with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, daily deposits, and monthly tax workups, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, and a high school or equivalent education. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years accounting experience required.
• Hospitality accounting experience preferred.
• High school or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license may be required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all onsite accounting functions.
• Prepare billing invoices and statements; process payments.
• Review vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain monthly tax-exempt worksheet and backup.
• Prepare and provide AR recaps and aging reports.
• Assist with daily deposits and cash handling as needed.
• Support with recruiting, onboarding and training as required.
