Gwinnett County Government is seeking an Administrative Liaison to support Water Resources Training and Safety Teams. The role handles license obtainment/renewal, class scheduling, budgeting, and advanced administrative tasks for a staff of 700+ employees.
The position requires high school diploma or GED and several years of related experience; it is a full-time on-site role in Georgia. You will coordinate cross-department communications and training logistics in a dynamic government environment.
This position supports the needs of Water Resources Training and Safety Teams by serving as an administrative liaison to other departments, assisting with license obtainment/renewal, class/course scheduling, assisting with budgets, assisting with training and safety related tasks, and performing advanced administrative support duties. This position is a grade 101.
Training and Experience (positions in this class require): High School Diploma, or G.E.D., and two years of specialized or technical training in administrative support or related field and four years of administrative support or related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Positions in this class typically require: walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
