Pediatric Dental Care of Memphis is looking for an experienced, people-focused leader to join our team as anAdmin Director.
The Admin Director is responsible for leading and supporting administrative teams across multiple locations while ensuring consistency, accountability, and operational excellence across the organization.
We are looking for a Director who not only leads well, but who creates a WOW experience through their own leadership. This person should make people feel valued, supported, respected, and cared for while also holding teams to a high standard.
This role is about more than managing day-to-day administrative operations. The Admin Director will ensure that all locations are following the same processes, standards, SOPs, and administrative expectations, while identifying gaps, auditing performance, and helping leaders improve.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead, coach, and support administrative leads across multiple locations.
- Ensure continuity and consistency across all offices by standardizing administrative processes, procedures, and expectations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure SOPs, policies, workflows, and administrative responsibilities are being completed correctly and consistently.
- Review administrative reporting for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, and follow up on discrepancies or trends.
- Partner with the Operations Director to identify operational issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
- Hold administrative leaders accountable for performance, follow-through, and adherence to company standards.
- Provide feedback, recommendations, and operational insight on SOPs and processes to help identify areas for improvement. Communicate suggestions to the Operations Director, who will develop, update, and implement the final processes.
- Identify recurring issues and work with leaders to address root causes rather than simply fixing individual problems.
- Support leaders with team member concerns, performance issues, conflict, and difficult conversations.
- Oversee the administrative side of patient complaints and service recovery, ensuring concerns are handled professionally, consistently, and appropriately escalated.
- Provide leadership and accountability for the Call Team, including monitoring KPIs, performance, call quality, scheduling, follow-up, and consistency between the Call Team and individual offices.
- Use reporting, audits, and performance data to identify opportunities for coaching, accountability, and improvement.
- Model and promote a WOW experience for every patient, family, and team member through exceptional communication, professionalism, hospitality, and follow-through.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate judgment when handling sensitive team member and patient matters.

- Is comfortable with auditing, reporting, KPIs, and performance accountability.

- Has excellent judgment and knows when to act independently and when to involve the Operations Director.
- Communicates clearly and handles difficult conversations and conflict professionally.
- Has experience implementing, improving, and enforcing SOPs and operational processes.
- Is highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Enjoys coaching and developing leaders.
- Looks for solutions and follows issues through to resolution.
- Understands the importance of fairness, confidentiality, consistency, and follow-through.
- Takes pride in creating exceptional experiences for both patients and team members.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven Director-level or senior leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and holding leaders accountable.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing performance, conflict, team member concerns, and difficult conversations.
- Ability to work across multiple locations, teams, and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to establish consistency, follow processes, and maintain accountability.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Dental or healthcare experience.
- Multi-location healthcare or dental leadership experience.
- Experience with dental or healthcare administrative systems and workflows.
- Call center or centralized scheduling experience.
- Experience managing or monitoring operational KPIs and performance reporting.
