A leading company in Garden City is seeking an Office Support Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative support. The role involves managing office supplies, scheduling meetings, and assisting executives with various tasks. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Function:
Provide general office support, manage mail and supplies, and assist with office equipment and building management software.
Answer and direct calls, greet visitors, and serve as liaison between executives and internal/external contacts.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, maintain the Chairman and President’s calendars, and manage the shared conference room schedule.
Support staff and guests with conference room IT equipment, coordinating with external consultants as needed.
Draft and distribute communications using Microsoft Office Suite; maintain spreadsheets and presentations.
Manage UPS account, prepare shipping labels, and handle occasional local errands and executive lunch coordination.
Assist with research, mailings, and other special assignments; handle sensitive and non-routine information with discretion.
