Job summary

Loadmaster is seeking a dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role provides administrative and accounts payable support to the Controller in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of administrative experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, strong data entry skills, and excellent organizational abilities. Training available for the right candidate.

• 1+ years of office or administrative experience preferred (training available)
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel preferred

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Match purchase orders, packing slips, and vendor invoices for payment
• Prepare and process weekly check runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and records
• Assist the Controller with month-end accounts payable reporting and other accounting duties
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the Controller and office staff
• Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in QuickBooks and other business systems
• Answer phones, greet visitors, file documents, and assist with general office operations
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Responsibilities

As our Administrative Assistant, you will:

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match purchase orders, packing slips, and vendor invoices for payment.
