Job summary

East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is seeking an Adjunct Surgical Technology Skills Instructor to support the Surgical Technology program. The role focuses on lab skills practice, competency assessment, and student skills check-offs, with possible PRN substitute coverage when needed.

The position is non-exempt and adjunct, with a pay rate of $38.00 per hour. Employment hours are not guaranteed and assignments depend on program needs and availability.

Qualifications

• Must hold CST credential through NBSTSA.
• Must be graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Must possess an Associate of Applied Science degree or higher in Surgical Technology or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide as-needed instructional support to the Surgical Technology program, focusing on lab skills practice and competency assessment.
• Assist with student skills check-offs and laboratory activities.
• May serve as PRN substitute coverage when an instructor is unavailable and will not be responsible for regular didactic instruction.
