Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to deliver assigned classes across a range of subjects. You will use current technologies to enhance instructional methods, and you will develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.

You will also maintain accurate student records and grades, engage with students to promote active learning, and comply with FERPA and college policies.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of current instructional technologies.
• Meet faculty credentials as outlined in ASOM 7.1.
• Comply with FERPA and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engages with students in meaningful and productive ways that promote learning.
• Interacts with students and co-workers professionally and complies with college policies.
