Ivy Tech Community College seeks adjunct faculty to deliver classes and support student success across the curriculum. You will use technology to enhance instruction, develop syllabi and materials, and maintain accurate records while adhering to college policies and FERPA.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid journeyman’s card or equivalent credential, an Indiana Workplace Specialist License, and demonstrate commitment to diversity in teaching and learning environments.

Qualifications

• Meets the full-time faculty discipline standard.
• Possesses a Department of Labor journeyman’s card for the relevant discipline.
• Possesses a Workplace Specialist License from Indiana DOE related to course objectives.
• Promotes diversity in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes per college policy and course objectives.
• Use technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develop course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintain accurate student records and grades.
• Engage with students to enhance learning and experiences at Ivy Tech.
• Interact professionally with students and colleagues and follow college policies.
• Know and implement classroom safety procedures.
