Job summary

Midlands Technical College seeks a Nursing Educator to supervise students in clinical settings, oversee hands-on and theory components, and manage clinical documentation and evaluations. The role is based at the Airport Campus within the School of Health Care.

Required: a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, an active SC Nursing License, and current BLS certification; two years of recent clinical experience in the specialty area. A Master's degree and prior clinical teaching experience are preferred.

• Provides direct supervision of students in a variety of clinical settings. Instruction includes hands on and theory, clinical management of students, and administrative tasks that may include reports, clinical documentation and student evaluations.
• Assess the performance of students on a regular basis, maintain records of student attendance, grades and progress. Other duties assigned as needed.

This position is located on the Airport Campus in the School of Health Care.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least two (2) years recent clinical experience in specialty area required. Active, unencumbered SC Nursing License, Current BLS Certification and must meet all requirements for clinical participation per clinical facility. Master’s degree and clinical teaching experience preferred.
