State of South Carolina is seeking an experienced nurse educator to supervise clinical instruction under the Course Coordinator, Dean of Health Science, or Assistant Dean of Nursing. The role ensures alignment of clinical experiences with course objectives and assessment processes.
The successful candidate will supervise students in clinical labs, participate in meetings, review curriculum, and uphold Nursing Standards of Care and the Code of Ethics.
Work under the direction of the Course Coordinator, Dean of Health Science, or the Assistant Dean of Nursing who assigns clinical responsibilities according to student needs and course objective.
Must submit and maintain CPR certification (must include adult/infant/child CPR, 1-2 man rescue, AED training, Heimlich maneuver, BLS and American Heart Association (AHA)). Must maintain TB screening, physical/titers/immunization/vaccines annually. Must submit evidence of clear background check and drug screens as well as evidence of Care Learning.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state. Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.
Master's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state. Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.
