Job summary

Midlands Technical College invites applications for adjunct engineering faculty to teach Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, and Chemical Engineering Technology courses at the Northeast Campus.

Day and Evening classes will be offered; applications reviewed on an as-needed basis. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years industry teaching experience; Master's preferred with 18 graduate hours for transfer courses. Remote out-of-state employees will be handled by KellyOCG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of industry experience in teaching discipline for Engineering Technology courses.
• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours related to the discipline for courses intended for university transfer.
• Disciplines considered include Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, Chemical, and related fields.
• Professional licensure/certifications and industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Architectural and Chemical Engineering Technology courses with varying schedules.
• Utilize technology and a variety of teaching methods in instruction.
• Position located in School of STEM-Engineering Technologies on the Northeast Campus.

Education

Bachelor's degree + 3 years industry experience
