Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree in a healthcare field, with 3 years in a healthcare facility and CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification. Ambulatory care experience is preferred.
Provides instruction including hands- on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development. Prepares and/or maintains current course syllabi for course taught. Ensures that course is taught in accordance with the establish syllabi. May teach in the day, evening, on-campus, as well as alternate delivery methods i.e. internet, hybrid, etc.

Associate's degree in a healthcare related field, three (3) years of experience in a healthcare facility and a current certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) through the AAMA.
Associate's degree in a healthcare related field, three (3) years of recent employment in a health care facility, including a minimum of one (1) year in an ambulatory health care setting performing or observing administrative or clinical procedures as performed by medical assistants, Must be credentialed in Medical Assisting by an organization whose credentialing exam is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
