Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Medical Assisting
• Minimum of two years full-time work experience in the field as a Medical Assistant; one additional year in Medical Assisting or related healthcare field (3 years total)

Responsibilities

• Instruct MED 138: Infection and Hazard Control course to first-year Medical Assisting Students; supervise students and develop teaching materials, activities and handouts
• Participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation activities to improve instructional quality
• Maintain professional certification and seek opportunities for professional development
• Perform duties assigned by the Department Chair.
