• Provides students with a written course syllabus.
• Participates in evaluating instructional process and uses innovative strategies to improve learning.
• Participates in development and support of discipline by recommending books and materials, revising curricula, and recommending teaching assignments when appropriate.
• Maintains accurate and complete course records.
• Performs professional activities and collaborates with the division dean and colleagues to achieve goals.
• Values collaborative processes and works with diverse communities.
• Uses knowledge of diverse learning styles to tailor instruction.
• Participates in student advising and registration.
• Utilizes technology to facilitate learning and access data, maintain records, generate reports, and communicate with others.
• Meets professional assignments per the academic calendar and contractual obligations.
• Complies with Dallas College policies and student code of conduct.
