Adjunct Medical Assistant Instructor - Piedmont Only
Qualifications

Education: Certified Phlebotomist, Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and/or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Professional Experience: 2-3 years as a Phlebotomist, RN, LPN, or CMA

Experience:

  • Comfortable teaching in classroom and via distance learning platforms
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and related applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent problem-solving abilities
  • Passion for teaching and student success
Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction according to policies
  2. Collaborate with other instructors on course development
  3. Maintain programmatic accreditation standards
  4. Deliver course content effectively
  5. Create a conducive learning environment using various instructional methods
  6. Maintain organized, safe, and compliant teaching spaces
  7. Manage classroom professionalism and discipline
  8. Support student needs individually and collectively to enhance retention
  9. Evaluate student performance using approved tools
  10. Follow policies related to academic and student services
  11. Plan effectively and demonstrate teaching effectiveness
  12. Complete and update all required documentation and reports
