Department Summary
The Department of Rehabilitation & Health Services is interdisciplinary, offering a Ph.D. in Health Services Research, Master's degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling and Health Services Administration, Bachelor's degrees in Public Health, Rehab Studies, and Addiction Studies, and a minor in Applied Gerontology.
UNT's diverse campus welcomes candidates with experience in HSI/MSIs and those who speak languages such as Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or Yoruba.
Position Overview
The department seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Assistant Instructor Pool, with applications accepted at any time. This posting covers Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025 semesters. Courses may vary each semester based on department needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Clinical background and experience in rehabilitation, mental health, or community counseling. Master's degree in counseling or related discipline from an accredited program. At least three years of clinical counseling practice. Master's level license and/or certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years of experience facilitating group counseling.
Ph.D. in counseling or a related field from an accredited program.

As applicable to the position.
