Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking adjunct faculty (temporary, part-time) to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville and McCormick. Instructors may teach during the day/evenings, online, or as dual credit for high schools.

Responsibilities include teaching varied schedules to a diverse student body using established syllabi, employing technology, and employing diverse teaching methods in instruction.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related technological field is required.
• MTT degree preferred for demonstrated competencies in teaching discipline.

Job Responsibilities

In order to build an active pool of qualified applicants, Piedmont Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty (temporary, part-time) to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick during the day/evenings, on-line and dual credit instructors to teach in high schools. Applications will be reviewed on an as needed basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules to a diverse student body in accordance with the established syllabi at a variety of locations, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction.

Machine Tool Technology Adjunct Instructors provide instruction for students in accordance with the established syllabi to a diverse student body in a professional manner.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

Associate's degree in related technological field.

Preferred Qualifications

MTT degree preferred & demonstrated competencies in teaching discipline.

This is a temporary, part-time position.
