Job Description Summary

The Department of Economics currently seeks adjunct instructors tofill current and future open sections for several courses thatinclude: Principles of Microeconomics, Principles ofMacroeconomics, and Business Statistics. There may be additionalopenings to teach upper-level undergraduate courses as well.Information about the Department of Economics and the coursedescriptions can be found here: http://www.bentley.edu/academics/departments/economics/undergraduate-courses

Candidates must have at least an M.A. in Economics. Preferencewill be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in Economics.

Salary Range:

Compensation for adjunct faculty is governed by the collectivebargaining agreement between Bentley University and the ServiceEmployees International Union (SEIU) Local 509.

For the 2025–26 academic year, adjunct faculty are compensatedat a rate of $7,225.00 per course.

Courses with labs and other four-credit courses shall will becompensated at a higher minimum rate of $9,333.00 per course.
