Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College seeks an adjunct instructor to teach Yoga I and/or Yoga II courses. Courses cover proper breathing, relaxation techniques, and correct body positions. The role uses Moodle to conduct classes and requires delivering courses in 8 or 16-week terms with diverse teaching methods.
Responsibilities include attendance records, grading, and alignment with course outcomes. Participation in college and departmental events is expected.

Duties
1. Use Moodle or current learning management system to conduct the course.
2. Teach courses in 8 or 16-week terms using diverse teaching methods.
3. Maintain records for attendance, submit grades, and stay current with planned course outcomes and assignments.
4. Attend college and/or departmental functions as needed.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Health or Physical Education or related field.
2. Current Yoga Instructor Certificate-200 hour.
3. Current Adult First Aid and CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s degree in Physical Education.
2. College teaching experience
