Specialty and subspecialty, if any, sought
Master’s degree in Spanish, Portuguese, Hispanic Studies, Luso-Brazilian Studies, Spanish Linguistics, or a closely related field. At least 18 graduate credit hours in Spanish or Portuguese. Professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese and English. Teaching experience at the postsecondary level, particularly in beginning Spanish or Portuguese language courses.
Courses to be covered
In-person introductory-level Spanish language courses: SPAN 101, SPAN 102, SPAN 190, SPAN 200, SPAN 201, SPAN 202. Occasionally classes in Portuguese classes will be available, such as PORT 101, PORT 102, PORT 201, PORT 202 or a 6-credit PORT 150 for PORT 250.
