Position Summary

The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is a joint program at the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) and Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU).

Oregon Tech is accepting applications for adjunct instructors for both the foundational sciences portion and the clinical sciences portion of the curriculum.

The program is recruiting a pool of persons for possible part‑time adjunct teaching positions. Qualified applicants may be invited to serve as instructors for courses within the program.

Applicants should apply online and submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three references with contact information. In your cover letter, please specify those areas or courses that you are qualified to offer and would be interested in teaching.

Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but for no more than two years. After two years, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool.

Teaching Modality

Appointments may include courses offered on‑line, in person on campus, hybrid, or related clinic or lab, or in an alternative format responsive to state and local requirements.

Location

The primary campus location is Klamath Falls, OR.

Additional Requirements
  • Master’s Degree or higher for foundational sciences courses

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard)
  • Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams
