Instructor Pool – 2025/2026 and Fall Term 2026: Physical Therapy
Position Summary: OSU – Cascades in Bend, Oregon invites applications for one or more fixed‑term, non‑tenure‑track Instructor positions to teach on a term‑by‑term basis for the 2025‑2026 academic year and Fall Term 2026. Some appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to a permanent instructional position.
Application Period: Applications will be considered throughout the 2025‑2026 academic year and Fall Term 2026 as opportunities become available.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching (70 %)
- Administer and teach DPT courses term‑by‑term.
- Develop syllabi and teaching materials in accordance with accreditation (CAPTE) standards.
Other Duties (20 %)
- Participate in accreditation processes, including the CAPTE site visit.
- Review DPT applications and provide input on applicant interviews.
Advising (10 %)
- Advise students, hold regular office hours, maintain records, and complete administrative tasks such as grade assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Licensed physical therapist in Oregon or eligible for licensure in Oregon; or academic doctoral degree from an accredited university.
- Advanced degrees such as PhD or DPT preferred.
- Teaching experience at the college or university level and a commitment to physical therapy education.
