Position Overview

The Department of Economics seeks a qualified individual to serve this fall as an adjunct instructor to teach an in-person section of our course on the economic relationship between the United States and Mexico. The focus of the course includes trade policy, immigration, and illicit drug trade. The course is an upper‑level elective and enrollment is usually between 25-40 students.

Minimum Qualifications

• MA or MS in Economics for undergraduate courses;
• Ph.D. in Economics for graduate courses.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of teaching experience at a university or community college including previous experience teaching either a similar course, or international trade, international finance, or the economics of immigration.
