Lamar State College-Port Arthur is seeking an Adjunct Commercial Driver License Instructor – Level II. The position involves classroom and field instruction for Class A & B vehicle safety, equipment maintenance, and Department of Transportation regulations.

The Adjunct Commercial Driver License Instructor – Level II has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, classroom and field instruction. The Adjunct Commercial Driver License Instructor – Level II is also responsible for teaching Class A & B vehicle safety, safety check off, equipment maintenance, and Department of Transportation regulations. Assigned classes may occur during the day or evening with varying teaching locations. This position reports to LSCPA’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Department.
Physical Requirements: Duties may include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting or moving of equipment or materials up to 40 pounds. Visual and auditory acuity are required to ensure effective instruction and safe supervision of students in classroom and field settings.
