Job summary

Lamar State College-Port Arthur is hiring an Adjunct Commercial Driver License Instructor – Level I, responsible for providing classroom and field instruction on Class A & B vehicle safety, and Department of Transportation regulations. The instructor will maintain current knowledge in teaching responsibilities and respond professionally to students and staff. This position reports to the Workforce Development and Continuing Education Department and is subject to security-sensitive provisions. The role requires a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL).

Qualifications

• Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A or Class B is required.

• Exhibit commitment to curriculum development and assessment
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject areas of teaching responsibility
• Respond professionally to students, faculty and staff
