Tennessee Board of Regents seeks an Adjunct Instructor for Architectural Design Technology (Pool) to deliver instruction across on-ground, online and hybrid formats. Responsibilities include using the LMS, updating syllabi, and maintaining timely communication with students and staff.
This pool posting covers periods of employment; postings close annually with openings reviewed as needed. A Bachelor's in Architecture or related field is required, with prior teaching experience preferred.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in Architectural Design Technology.
Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilise the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends. Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
College level teaching experience
Knowledge of and/or experience with a variety of instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
$650.00 - $740.00 per credit hour
