Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is recruiting part-time faculty to teach courses in electrical, automation, mechanical, mechatronics, IIoT, robotics, and PLC for the Department of Advanced Manufacturing. Opportunities include in-person, online, or hybrid teaching as vacancies occur.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, with a valid driver’s license. Compensation is paid per credit: $1,050 for 100–200 level courses and $1,150 for 300–400 level courses.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Controls, or closely related fields from an accredited institution or 1 year working in advanced manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Degree may be substituted with equivalent academic preparation and an additional two years of professional experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in electrical, automation, mechanical, mechatronics, IIoT, robotics, PLC for the Department of Advanced Manufacturing.
• Teach in-person, online, or hybrid courses when PT Faculty vacancies occur.
• Assess student learning and maintain professional conduct.
• Refer students to supportive college resources and participate in professional development.
