Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is seeking part-time faculty to teach diesel courses across the Department of Diesel, including DT 100, DT 106, and DT 110. Positions may be in-person, online, or hybrid, depending on vacancies, and applications are always welcome for the pool of qualified instructors.

Under the supervision of the Department Chair, part-time faculty will deliver course content, assess student learning, and stay current with industry and teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and/ or combined equivalence of education and work experience.
• 3 years professional experience related to diesel technology.
• Willingness to teach a variety of diesel courses and work with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach course content and assess student learning under supervision of the Department Chair.
• Stay current in the diesel field and use current technology in instruction.
• Refer students to college resources and participate in professional development.
• Maintain ethics and professional conduct.
