Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is seeking qualified individuals to join our pool of Part-Time Faculty to teach introductory engineering design and related courses in the Department of Physical Sciences. Teaching assignments may be in-person, online, or hybrid, depending on staffing and program needs.

Under supervision of the Department Chair, Part-Time Faculty will deliver course content, assess student learning, stay current in their teaching area, and connect students with campus

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Engineering or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Desire to work with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Interest in teaching and connecting students to college resources.

Responsibilities

• Teach course content; assess student learning; stay current in teaching field.
• Deliver instruction in-person, online, or hybrid as assignments arise.
• Refer students to supportive college resources and maintain professional conduct.
